About weapon masteries & other passives

simply put, are these bugged?

i checked how much increase of dmg (on the stat window) i receive every time i learn a passive skill. so far, after learning 4 braveries and 3 axe masteries, im just plain dissapointed, probably gaining only about another 15 damage from those 2 skills at their current levels.

being an axe fighter, at this level my dmg is in the 700+ range, so that extra 15 doesnt really mean anything, especially when it cost over 50s

do they add something else that perhaps i just overlooked? like accuracy? or some other hidden stat? or are they just messed up and should be adding a lot more than they do right now?
