The jury has reached a verdict. But was it correct?

The true story:

Jackaroo did indeed drop by to just drop off a bracelet. However, he forgot about all of this, and got caught up in conversation. The two grew close, and promised to hang out again sometime.

However, from a distance, Helion was watching. He saw Jack walk out of the apartment. in a rage, he pushed Hessah into the apartment, and the two fought. in a fit of rage, he bashed her in the side of the head with a baseball bat. She died slowly, bleeding and with her jaw broken, so she was unable to speak. Shaken, he walked out.

You've heard the rest.

You've allowed an innocent man to die in prison. His wife fails to pay their mortgage alone, after having an already strained bill before her husband was incarcerated. She loses the house, and her and her kids are forced into the streets.

Helion walks free to this day.

All roles have failed, except for Helion. The prosecutor reaches a draw, having let an innocent man die, but doing her job well.

So a prosecutor can't "win" as long as the subject in question is actually guilty.

Nor can the defendent if his or her client is guilty... seeing as the underlying theme of a trial and the whole offense-defense system is to try and reach the truth, it makes sense. so yeah, if you're a lawyer, there's a 50-50 chance you'll only draw.

LOLWUT? A prosecutor's job is to convict, the defense lawyer's job is to acquit. Even if someone is found bathed in the blood of the victim and admits in writing that he killed the person after raping puppies, the person's defense lawyer (even court appointed) must vigorously defend the defendant.

Ultimately, what happened is this - I was FINALLY able to kill Hessah in a FF game. And, I also think that the prosecutor also wins because her job was to get a conviction, and she did that. The truth is all relative, anyway.

oh, i know. It's a rule that if the defendant admits to the defense attourney they were the killer, the atourney cant say a thing about it. but what im saying is that it's kinda the point of the system- to root out the truth with opposing sides.
