Wait...wait...wait...a vampire that sparkles in the sunlight? Shouldn't it...burst into flames? What sort of bullshit is that? A daywalking vampire? Blade kinda pulled it off, but he was a hybrid. I thought Buffy took a lot of liberties with the whole sunlight thing, but that's just...preposterous.

but the vampires in buffy couldn't walk in the sun either... except for that one time spike put on a ton of sun block then he could stay out there for a little while.

Yeah, but they tended to just throw a tarp or jacket or something over their heads and ran around anyway. I thought that was pushing it a bit. You'd see Spike or Angel run into a room with smoke coming off of them, but if a lesser vamp even looked at the sun wrong he immediately went up in flames, LOL.
