Kingdom Quest Troubles

Hi, This is my first day on Fiesta, so please don't be surprised i barely know anything. Anyway, I wait till the time is when you start, I click Participate, then the button goes from blue to black, then it goes back to blue, but i'm still in the same place. My level is 10 btw. Are there any requirements i missed?

You need to click the instant the notices come up on the bottom right of the screen. It is difficult to get into.

Watch for the "Recruit Time" and the little clock on the KQ window. What most people do is to log out (press ESC and Select Character) then log back in 1 minute before your KQ is about to start. Then wait for the status to say "Recruiting" and in that instant, click the Participate button.

Have the screen open before it announces that the recruitments began. Don't even pay attention to the announcements, just watch the thing go from "On schedule" to "Recruiting" THEN click participate.

if u click the sand timer top right near mini map you can join a kq anywhere so also go somewhere laggy while waiting to participate and recruit urself into a kq

I know that the objective is to find the real chars but what else is going on here? I feel that everyone is just running around and trying to move forward without killing anything. Thought we would party up and work together but I got killed doing that. What gives???? Not at all like King Slime's Revenge... need a "feel" for this one. Anybody got ideas???

The group you were in was most likely trying to rush to the first Marlone/Mara. The KQ wasn't designed to where you killed every single monster (like you had to in the King Slime one). Everyone usually only kills the monsters that are in the way, or none at all (rushing).

The only advice I can give if you're not the tank is follow along and DON'T FALL BEHIND. If you fall behind, you'll never catch up if you're an archer or mage unless a cleric/tank comes back to help you.

Oh and if you're melee, attack Marlone/Mara from the back only. If you're the puller, get to know which one is the real one.

Mara KQ, I miss it!

Well first, its good to be in a party but you don't need to be. Fight your way through the monsters, and avoid them when you can. (Meaning, don't charge in blindly, try to stay to the sides if you can.)

You'll eventually get to this place where a fake marlone and fake mara and waiting. Kill the monsters here, and then have an archer or fighter pull one fake at a time. After you kill them, continue on to the main ship, killing what you have to on your way there.

Clear out some of the stuff on the right part of the ship, only what you need to. Then you'll have an archer pull the REAL marlone and REAL mara (one at a time!)

The real Marlone is facing left in his picture I believe (Correct me if wrong, I can't remember X_X) and the real Mara has a blue symbol on her hat in her picture. Kill them (one at a time!) and success~ You're done.

Don't pull the fakes. They're useless D:
