Mage damages

lately ive been wondering if me mage was as good as others mage...so i tryed me skill on slime to see me biggest dmg.

ame lvl 22

magic missile: 2k dmg no crit.

magic burst: 3.5k dmg crit.

tell me yours please...

My first thoughts when looking at those numbers were: "WTFHAX?!"

And then I realised you were throwing them at slimes, lol. Anyway, if you want to compare your abilities as a mage with anyone else, I suggest you post more specific details about your mage.

Skills - What have you empowered?
Magic attack - What value have you achieved by level 22?
Stats - What did you invest in?

There might be something else I'm not taking into account, but I'm just recommending you edit your first post with these details. This way you can see if your mage is on track in a more efficient way, rather than smacking at slimes for extremely variable damage.

i understan what your saying but i read a lot of threads about mage stats and they all say differents things so i dont trust them much...

No no, that isn't what I'm talking about. I'm just asking you to post your own stats, so it'd be easier to compare with any other mages that decide to post. If you're superior to a mage that posts, then you can compare stats and attempt to deduce why. I'm pretty sure you've made this post in order to assess whether or not your mage is good, but why not learn what exactly makes your mage that bit better?

You are wondering if your mage is as good as others, right? He is suggesting for you to post your stats so other people can help you give some advices. If you find out that your mage's damages are not as good as other mages, what are you doing to do? You would want to find out why your damage isn't as good, right? For you to find out the problem, you must state the problem (i.e. stat/skill information about your character) so we can help you.

Yes, it is closed beta, that's why you should find out the reason now. Your character is -probably- going to be wiped anyway, so why don't you test around with things, so you know exactly what you should do in open beta?
