I remember having a younger sized version of that ball it had those spikes but the ball doesnt hit as hard as you think when you get hit by it because its soft rubber. I used to throw that ball mostly at my sisters head when I was younger because she frequently annoyed me.

If that ball was a tad bigger you could use it as a massage ball and exercise ball in 1
