Item upgrade need help please :P

I got my sword to upgrade in 1 elrue and i tride doing it the second time only i couldent get my sword into the center slot. I tride puting my elrue in the slots around the center slot and then putting my sword into the center slot but it didnt work ....i think it could be a glitch anny ideas ?

You'll have to unequip the sword to be able to place it in the "center slot." Don't worry, I used to be baffled by this just the same as you did. Hope this helps you.
