"Attention Players,

Burning Rock has been closed due to its unintentional opening as of Monday's (Feb. 25th) patch. The zone was not yet fully tested and there were a few quests that were not ready to be released.

Due to quest errors, there have been the following necessary changes to restore the game as it was intended. Please be aware that the only users who will notice the following changes are those who have completed the quests.

- The rewards from these quests have been removed
- The exp gained from completing the quests have been removed however exp acquired while "grinding" in Burning Rock will NOT be removed
- The money received from completing the quest has been removed
- The money spent on acquiring new skills has been refunded and any newly acquired Skills will not be saved if the skills are above your level
- The stat points used have been reversed and the stats gained that exceed your level have not been saved
- Armor/Weapons bought that are equipped will remain equipped and usable until un-equipped. Once un-equipped, your character must meet the level requirement.

Note: If you did NOT complete the Burning Rock Quests, you will not be affected by these listed changes to your characters.

As compensation for the lost time of the emergency maintenance, ALL ACTIVE PREMIUM ITEMS WILL BE EXTENDED. In other words, the amount of time that the servers were down will be ADDED to ALL PREMIUM ITEMS. As of 8AM PST this morning (Feb. 28) EXP Rate will be increased by 50% on all servers until Monday 11am (Mar. 3rd)

We realize that there may be a few game imbalances with this patch and we want to assure you that we are taking every precaution to make ensure for the best game play experience possible.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and lengthy maintenance however it was necessary in order to "make things right". Thank you for your continued patience and understanding in the matter."

well, such a long period of +50% exp will benefit me more than a static reward of 1,3 million exp, but I still think this was a horrible blunder on their part. At least they admit it though. I am officially satisfied. =P

Love the siggy lvra. And that is why I avoid the officials forums if I can. I read them ,but do not post there, unless it is something I REALLY wanna post.

I agree as well.

The main problem with BR being open, IMO, was the fact that everybody could complete the quest, which was not what it was intended for. If they had just opened it, and only the lvl 79s could complete, I think that would have been fine.

Mebbe this will be good news for BR in the next update?

Yeah SKiNG said that they were gonna do a big Burning Rock event to introduce to map in the near future, but now everyone got in and had a look around.. (well not everyone coz i didnt get to! but most ppl did)

i think they did the right thing too... and most ppl seems to have been rolled back properly... which is quite surprising IMO HAHAH 1 tick for outspark

But, I think the whole rollback and taking away the exp, closing BR, and all that was the right decision. Yes, I was one of the ones that completed that quest and advanced a level. But, I think thay did the best that they could given the situation.

PHEW I thought I was the only one thinking like that, I was wondering if there was anything wrong with me!

I mean, yeah ok, I'm sad I lost my exp and silvers, but... it's to be fair for everyone, right? If they let us have the quest rewards and close the map, those who hasn't done it will complain about it being unfair that some people got 1.3 million exp while they haven't. Boo that!
