Defragging

Okay, im using Smart Defrag from IObit, and a few system 32 folders are in the "need to defrag" list. I think i remember that system 32 contains files vital to the system's running, but i also know that smart defrag is one of the best out there. anyone know whether or not it could mess with my system?

It shouldn't. In fact, you may find your system running a bit faster.

Over your time, your computer accumulates fragmented files, especially when you download a lot of stuff. This starts to slow it down over time. Defragging programs organize the fragmented files, making your computer go faster. Windows computers come with a defragger, but there are better ones out there. I would reccomend IObit's smart defrag.

(Im not very tech-savvy, so i might've gotten facts a little bit mixed up there.)
