Photoshop... Mac Vs Windows

Is there a Mac version of photoshop? Is it different from the windows version altogether? (Version CS 3 to be specific)

Not particularly, the Mac version does perform better on a Mac though.

That is only for CS3 and older editions, however. CS4 and CS4 Extended, as far as I know, has a 64-bit version for Windows, but remains 32-bit for Mac.

I find it easier to work on any of the adobe products on a Mac...

Graphic Design is better on Macs, but I'll never switch x_x;; Not used to them AT ALLLLLLL!

Oh ok, I've just got a friend who said photoshop didnt work on her Mac and I was wondering if there was a different version, or just the wrong version / bad crack version...

I'll give her CS 3 and give it ago.. Thanks
