Ahhhhh! I've probably made a thread on this before, I can't really remember, but I had a problem where I cannot paste my screenshots into Photoshop. It works when I paste it into other programs, but not when I try in photoshop!

I've ignored it for a fair while (since I haven't used photoshop much lately anyway with all the work I have). But today, I finally got fed up and decided to google for a solution.

It seems like there is not permanent fix! There seems to be temporary fixes, but I haven't found a permanent fix yet.

I WANT MY PRINTSCREEN! Now I have to resort to ctrl/alt+printscreen... sigh~

Edit: wow? Some threads date back to 2007.. great..

Edit: OMG ctrl/alt + printscreen doesn't even work for photoshop. Must have remembered wrong. =.=.=.=!

o.o does it happen like, you try to paste it directly from prnt scrn and then ps closes? or it just doesn't paste it at all.

o.o mine does it where i can't paste it directly from prnt scrn,
I have to open a new file with the correct widths and lengths and then paste it from there.

Doesn't work when I paste it directly. Haven't tried adjusting dimensions. Back when it worked, photoshop will adjust the dimensions for me. Sigh.

When I want to paste something into photoshop, SS or anything. It freezes unless I open up a new file first- like Amber said.

If im going to paste something I usually just make a new file the dimensions of a siggy (since thats what I usually make)
and then go to "image from clipboard" and it usuallydoes it without freezing
