It looks fun. I've been in a couple of Mission Control/Shuttle launch/ops simulators and they were a blast.

I'm confused.

NASA is funded by government tax money. NASA is creating MMOs. Government tax money is funding the creation of MMOs by NASA?

Am I missing something here? ._.

Nope, that's about the long and short of it. This isn't exactly a new idea. The Army developed a FPS, after all. It became rather popular if I recall. America's Army was the name, I think.
