Apprenticeship problem
I didn't see a thread related to this already, and if this actually belongs in the tech support forum, I'm sorry, feel free to move it or ask me to re-post it there if you would like.
I know you must be at least 10 levels ahead of someone to take them as an apprentice (or for them to take you as a master, rather) but.. are there any other restrictions to it? A friend of mine and I have encountered a problem that has repeated 3 times so far. We are about 13 or so levels apart right now, and every time he adds me as a master, the game saves our relationship as master and apprentice, but when we log off and i log in (i usually log in several hours before him since he's in school and I'm already done with high school) the next day, when i check my apprentice list, his character's name has been removed. I received a system message saying relationship was terminated due to level discrepancy the first time it happened, but now it just removes him. I've been told that class of master and apprentice doesn't matter by another friend of mine who has taken apprentices of different classes and still has 2 or 3 of a class different to hers, but has the system changed and aster and apprentice now have to be same class? or is the game just being mean to me?
