How many pets is to many?

Okay.. i was going through my invo not long ago. And I realized how many pets I have.
Mainly slimes... lol. And Honeyings. They're just so darn cute!
But im curious. How many pets would you say is to many to have?

i had 22 from two events in two days :| one was independance where they dropped like 200 chests with only 20 odd poeple there
And then got another 4 ~7 from next day event :|
