How DOES dex help?
I mean, sure, more aim & evasion.
But what does more aim do?
It's not like you're going to shoot off the screen.

Aim is how often you miss the monster/character.
High Dex= less misses
Low Dex=more misses
I dont know how significant the difference between a lot of Dex and a small amount of dex but it might not even be noticable.

I was thinking the same thing.
I do miss, but not the things around my level.
What's the point of being able to hit things higher than me anyways?
My damage still gets reduced a huge amount.

I think youll be fine with a str based build because you really dont miss to often.

I'm building a STR/DEX which will tear up PvP IMO, but if you wish to be a PvE, I'd go STR/DEX/END with a 1:2:3 ratio in that order.

o.o So You're going to add 1 STR for every 3 END?

My Archer has no END at all, which is bad seeing how stingy I am with my HP pots.

Well I've been playing one day. Since I was able to get in.
My Archer has the build of mainly STR and once in a while [when I feel like it] I will add 1 END.
Just when you feel you need it. So go for STR build in my opinion. Gets things done.

Archers have such a DEX amount added per level, you don't really need to put any points into DEX.

Hmm, STR/DEX would not tear up PvP. Mages would kill you one shot, because they have just as long of a range, you will have very little health and almost no Magical Defense due to low SPR. IMHO, a high STR build with SPR and END would probably be the best archer PvP build.
