i had to run through nox, the bigger nox guy, incubuses, gold bats, and giant gold bats just to get to the ratman knights. i had to use the last 20k of my hp pot on the way there too cause one of the things chasing me had that affect marlone and the marlone archers have that make it so you can't move. i don't think i've ever spammed that key so much before

and now i have to do it again

Its the Nox that hold you up with the vines. Those quests are definitely ones you need a group (or a Rof or a Hessah).
