Okay I figured out the reason for a decrease in pH... now how can I explain the increase... -mutters to myself and goes back to work-

It's because there are more H+ atoms!!!!!

And your Cpazek whatever has mucho H+ atoms. Or it has has a ionic metal like a Na or something that breaks apart H20 to form NaOH or something and then you have all these H+ atoms floating around like whooooo...
