I made this originally for my guild forum but I got a feeling it will be good here too.
Ok Ill give it a try......
The pure end fighter is the ultimate tank. With the enhanced health and defense they are easily able to withstand stronger monsters or more of a weaker one. With the help of a 1 handed sword/shield they also get the help of the enhanced block rate.

Benefits of the pure end.....
1) High health
2) High defense
3) Increased block rate
4) Very difficult for a mage/archer to kill fast

Downfall of the pure end.....
1) Low strength
2) Low spirit points
3) Low Magic defense
4) Worse build for player vs. player ( Does not mean they can't)
5) Not the best for soloing

Skills to be considered for enhancement with the pure end build.....
1) Mock (Cooldown) A MUST
2) Devastate (Duration) Highly recommended
3) Devastate (Cooldown) Highly recommended
4) Power Hit (Damage) Highly recommended
5) Precise Attack (Damage) Highly recommended

(The 2 hander skills are to make up for your lack of damage in player vs. player and soloing)

6) Devastate (Damage) Recommended
7) Devastate (Spirit Point Consumption) Recommended
8) Precise Attack (Cooldown) Recommended
9) Vitality (Duration) Recommended
10) Vitality (Cooldown) Recommended

(Vitality is great for a pure end fighter cause with the high defense its not much sacrifice for literally double damage)

11) Concussive Charge (Duration) Low recommended
12) Snearing kick (Cooldown) Low recommended
Will finish when I can actually look at my skills.....(Doing from memory at the moment)

As far as who has the best capability of holding aggro I dont think build will have anything to do with it. This is determined by the enhancements of your skills and how you use your skills. (Example: Aoe with mage 5+ levels over you...... Mock then wait for Nova (Considering the mage is 60+) When the intial hit is done Devastate. This 95% of the time holds the aggro no matter what build you are....)

If you like parties and like being the "ultimate defense" then this is the build for you. Thanks and have good day.

Devastate Spirit point consumption should go into Power hit and precise attack cooldown.

Precise attack cooldown will let you fire off a fighters most powerful skill once every 35 seconds.

Power hit cooldown will let you fire off a fighters second most powerful skill after eradicate, every 4.2 seconds.

Also, for one handers, its accuracy strike.

They werent in any order I was just listing them with level of recommendation.

And as far accuracy strike I know that thats the one hander skill but I dont recommend enhancing it. When Im using 1h its for the shield not the damage.

thats true about the END and it's some good adive thatnks for the info but i pefer both END and SRT but thats some great info for new poele and lvl 20 people

So what do you guys think about a pure STR fighter with +9 full set, greens stuff?

Of course, still lack of hp & block rate.

I'm just wondering though. =/

This isnt to say one build is better then the other cause there isn't a such thing. I know a lot of Pure Str fighters with +9 gear who tank just as well or even better then I do and the other Pure end fighters. It just comes down to skills at that point. But in the end pure end fighters our mainly made for tanking not really anything else but for Str fighters they built for soloing/pvping and with the help of some enhancing dam good tanks too.

Full END Tank? They are like the greatest soloist ever o.o...just takes some patience to do it and just need a decent 1h sword with decent shield. I played full END tank and I could solo anywhere and tank anywhere. And they are not difficult for mages to kill, too low m.def, and def does nothing toward m.atk, which is pwn by the mages

Well full end stand greater chance against surviving the barage of spells sent at them then a full str or some hybrid build. But yes full end can be killed by a mage but it takes longer. If you say otherwise well thats your oppinion I guess.
And I didn't say they CAN'T solo I said they have a more difficult time soloing. There experience comes from the party mostly. Cause I have had to solo from time to time myself. Not saying we can't do it just it takes work cause you dont hit as hard.

Oh well, fighter full str with full +9 stuff...i see no difference with a full end if it's about 250hp less (at lv 50-55) or block rate =D.

But seriously, i had switched from full end to full str yesterday, the difference of def isn't that much, strange =/; I receive between 10-20 more dmg from mobs, like orc hunter, mush or navars.
