Worst or best KQ ever?

So I just did a Slime KQ again, this time with my level 8 mage (that was my first mistake, I should have leveled more ) But it started out ok, even though we only had one cleric that would refuse to heal and a good amount of lvl 5-7.

Well we get closer and closer to the end, people start leaving cuz they say we won't win, but I stay just because It's rude to leave early in my opinion. We finally get to King slime and we are down to maybe 9 people. Luckily one fighter is 16, has loads of pots and defense scrolls etc. He managed to tank the whole think without a cleric.....until the end. Im not sure if an X on his picture meant he logged out or died too many times, but he wasnt there Right before we killed him. Luckily King did that thing where he waits a bit before he goes on his slimey rampage again, so we mages could finish him off from a distance. When I looked at the remaining people...we had 6, including me, with every slime but the King left.

SOMEhow we managed to kill ever slime despite our low level due to excellent pulling from a fellow mage. She actually tanked the queen, as much as a mage can, enough to where we can take her down. Despite negativity and doubt, just 6 of us made it and we were soooo happy. Which is when the cleric came from around the corner saying "IM BACK EVERYONE LOLS THANKS FOR FREE EXP.

I was a little mad at that, but the fact that 6 of us could handle that just surprised me so much, and I got myself a +6 weapon from it im dieing to use. But I gotta wait 5 more levels ^_^

Not the worst KQ ever. Just the worst cleric ever.

Some tips:
1) An X on the picture means they have disconnected. If they have simply died too many times, there is a ? sign meaning that you don't really know where they went. Just not on the same map anymore.

2) You can always check who is left in your KQ by opening the KQ list, clicking on your Room and waiting a couple seconds for the roster to show up to check.

this doesnt always work, coz if someone logged out and come back, they dont appear on the "roster"... just something to keep in mind..


Waoh.. u guys did well with just mages left at the end! the King isnt the worst part (although his poison is annoying) but the tough bit comes when the 2 prince and queen spawn.... good stuff!!!

i've once tanked Mara KQ without a cleric... but that's on my alt so i'm rich (for that level) and was loaded with pots XD

i hate it when ppl think u cant finish and just quits.... we managed to finish the KQ with only 8 ppl... but if everyone stayed we could've done it so much faster (considering we dont hv clerics, we've got 15 dmg dealers)

it's those ppl that quits early that fails!!!!!!!!!!! -roar-

that's the best part about Slime / Mara / Gold Hill KQ... all you need is team work and maybe 1 higher lvl tank with pots... no cleric and low level isnt a problem... and ppl fail to see that... (but story changes from Robo KQ onward)

i once beat a slime kq with my archer when he was lvl 5 when i beat it i grew 3 lvls after

I would be extremely mad at that cleric though ... he afks when he's the only cleric and happens to come back for the free exp? I would hold a grudge on him for the rest of my life =O=;

I thought It did matter in my case though because I had no aim scrolls and my magic missle was missing at the Gold slimes and up, including King slime. At least I was doing moderate damage though.

It was fun lol.

Eh @ Enraya~People like that ain't worth holding a grudge over with... Just wait for the right time you can do something in return, such as a few levels higher... Then you both happen to be in the same map, train his @$$ and feel better ^^

Wow IT happened again. But we made it again. I'm starting to have some difficult groups lol

Yeah it happened to me too recently on my newblet fighter. I did 2 king slime kqs back to back that were both successful, frustrating, and resource-consuming.

1st KQ: no clerics, most of the fighters quit, but we still had some mages and archers for DD. My lvl 11 (I think) fighter at the time was the tank - I had vit, def scroll + cleric's buff, but I ran out of pots and died when the prince and king slimeys were all over me. Luckily an archer with vit + buff was able to tank briefly before I used heart and mocked the King back. From there I used a mock n run tactic and the King was soon dead. After that we finished the queen and her associates off ^^.

2nd KQ: 2 clerics. Now I'm lvl 12, once again with vit/def scroll, but no cleric's buff, and I was tanking again. One cleric was not in my party but did okay for the most part I'd say... the cleric who was in my party always shroomed - even when she had full hp/sp. When we got to king slime, everything was going well at first (as it usually does), then, I wasn't being healed anymore. I believe one of the clerics either died off or died once and ran away. And the cleric who was in my party... went to a corner and shroomed >< - I think she didn't want healing hate or something (if she understands the concept). In anycase, again I found myself getting pummeled by king + queen + mobs and died (I only had stones). I still had a lot of aggro because the king just stood over my corpse and got shot to death hehe. Following that, I hearted and we finished the queen off... while cussing at the shrooming cleric.
