okay, so here is what happened:
But first a disclaimer. Do not try this at home, it was performed by an experienced driver in not-so-controlled circumstances.
Second disclaimer: Lady-Loki, before you even ask, yes I was driving too fast, but it is your fault. I have the need for speed bred into me.
So, I am on my way home from work and I have my radio cranked up and really getting into it when the car in front of me decides it wants to STOP.

Not slow down, but stop, with no indication that it wants to do this. So, I slam on my brakes and everything goes flying to the front of my truck, even my cell-phone, which was tucked under my leg. My tires lock up, rubber is squealing, and the rear end comes around on me and I start to fish-tail. Now, I hit my brakes hard enough that I did not hit the fool in front of me. I slid to a stop a few feet away from the idiot. But, after I stopped, my adrenaline was pumping. I mean it was a full-fledge adrenaline rush. My legs and arms were shaking, my right foot was jumping so bad I couldn't keep it on the pedal, a hot flash washed over me, and my heart was pounding in my ears.
