Recruitment for Fiesta Online (US) volunteer MODs
Greetings, Isyans!
Team Fiesta North America (NA) is now opening recruitment for volunteer Moderators (MODs) for the NA forums!
Moderators will undergo a training period before working independently [but always reporting to a Senior Moderator (SMOD) or Lead Game Master (LGM)], and at that time they will only be granted basic functions.
There is room for growth, but please be aware that new MODs will not be surfing the forums with god-like powers.
The Moderator’s focus will be simple: to serve and grow the forum community. If you want to actively help improve the Fiesta NA Forum experience, this could be your chance!
Note: As an officially-endorsed helper, a Moderator’s responsibilities will be taken very seriously. Unprofessional conduct will not be tolerated in any way.
If you wish to apply for a MOD position, please read the following:
Moderator tasks include:
• Monitoring and managing forums
• Assisting the Game Masters in game with scheduled events
• Assisting players on forums with any issues/ concerns they may have (ie. Private messages)
• Informing players of and enforcing the Forum Rules as well as Fiesta’s Terms of Service
• Keeping up to date on Fiesta news as well as any game/forum updates in order to have the ability to educate players properly
• Keeping our forums clean and organised.
• Performing forum events.
Requirements:
• Minimum age of 16 years
• Mature, helpful and easy-going personality
• Good social skills
• A cool head in the face of frustration
• Good knowledge of English
• Extensive knowledge of the game/forums and their respective rules
• Ability to take constructive criticism
• A good capacity for teamwork
• Willingness to invest 1 to 2 hours a day (possibly more in certain situations)
• A headset to interact with the team on TeamSpeak
• Enthusiasm for the game, the community and the tasks assigned to you
Bonus:
• Previous experience in a similar position
• Working knowledge of any languages other than English

As a volunteer, Moderator positions are at-will, and either side can choose to leave the agreement at any time.
