The Outspark InsiderJanuary 12th, 2011Fiesta Game News Hello there Fiestans! The patch tonight includes some BIG changes for a couple classes and some brand new event quests! The servers will be shutting down starting at 10:00PM PST, and the maintenance has a planned completion of 12:00AM PST, for a total of 2 hours. Check the server announcements located in the Fiesta forums for updates is case the process is completed any sooner (or later).

New Event Quests: Return of the Tides
The waters are boiling with the fervor of an ancient battle! Thought to be quelled long ago, it appears the untamed forces of Queen Aquarius and Queen Neptune have landed upon the glistening shores of Isya. Not willing to take any risks with these unexpexcted visitors, the various town chiefs from all across the land have gathered together to launch a counterattack-- and they want you to lead the way!
After tonight's patch, three new event quests will be available for completion! Depending on your level, you will be assigned to a specific battlestation (either Roumen, Elderine, or Uruga).

Cleric Re-balance
- Two new skills for clerics are now available for purchase from the Skill Masters of Isya. Extinguish is a damage-dealing AOE, while Silence is a skill that prevents your opponent from casting any spells.

Fighter Re-balance
- The cooldown for the Whirlwind skill has been reduced from 3 minutes to 1 minute.
- The prestige bonuses for Gladiators and Knights has the following changes:

- Gladiators will now gain an additional 391 SP.- Knights will now gain an additional 1239 HP.

OX Field
- Player can now create parties and join parties while in the OX Field map.
- Premium items can now be activated while in the OX Field map.

Gold Spammer Reporting - Beta
- Players can now report gold spammers by right-clicking on the spammer's name and selecting "Report gold spammer"- Reports will be sent to any available GMs

Misc.
- The EXP rewards for all Kingdom Quests will be returning to normal.- Improved synchronization issue that caused players to appear in different locations on different screens.
- A few minor text errors have been corrected.

Great, now I'll have to reset my cleric skills slots and figure it out all over again - was a pain in the ass when I hit prestige, although it was a good kind of pain...lmao

Fighter, who cares........

Archer.......again, no big deal, if they want to improve something, how about making the "damage area" ring visible when you are kiting swamp areas.......

OMG HELION i've been trying to kite those Mudman that you're telling me about.. once at lvl 85 and again at 90.. both times I died coz I couldnt see my damn ring!!

I've decided I need to kite on land...

Didn't die with the BMMs, but took longer to kill them than it should have. Still, was going at a rate of 6 million points an hour, so its a decent backup plan for me when the whole area is open. Couldn't stay on land due to some mage taking up the spot around the tree, so had to suffer. They should be easier in 60 million more points when I can use my +10 HG xbow with the BMM license.....lol.

Yeah there's always someone there on the land... how many of them do u kite at once? i figured any more than 5 i'd die.. was doing only 3 at a time but thought that's a bit too slow AND NOTHING DROPPED!!

The BMMs are of 3 different levels, 102s, 103s, and 104s. The 102s do not drop any mats. They are the ones closest to the AR gate. The closer you get to the Phouches, the higher the level. 103s and 104s drop mats. I was kiting 10 - 12 at a time, just make sure you use a T2 speed scroll, otherwise, they do have an AoE that can hit hard.

New cleric skills - Silence is L95, the AoE one starts at L100 - guess you low levels had better get to work.....
