LCD Monitor

So... I have this LCD monitor that's got horizontal lines running up and down which is really annoying. I've looked it up and there are mixed solutions from clearing dust to twisting the display to get a now monitor.

Anyone know of a solution?

If not, can you guys recommend a good/decent LCD monitor?

Did a quick internet search and mostly found that this isn't fixable. the monitor is broken, thats that.

I may be wrong of course.
