Giant Magmaton Bottleneck

OK, I love playing Fiesta, and in general I applaud Outspark for adding new content and quests, but this time they have royally screwed the newest quests up for 90+ levels. They have several quest series going through new NPCs at the old King Mushroom spot near Uruga. Unfortunately, everything gets bottlenecked at one quest - the first of a series - from the main NPC at the spot. The goal is to get 10 hot stones from the Giant Magmaton. This is not a hard kill, hell, I was soloing it at L75. The problem becomes that the drop rate is one in every 10 kills. In other words, 1 drop every 2 hours, or around 20 hours to finish the quest. It becomes even worse when you realize that every player from levels 87 to 95 can get the quest. I popped into the game to check every hour I was awake from Friday morning through Monday afternoon, and there were always people camped out waiting for the next spawn. One person I talked to Monday morning had been there for 16 hours and had gotten 7 drops. I haven't checked the official forums yet, but I know that this will be a problem for the forseeable future until they up the drop rate. I can't wait to see what the other parts to this quest are - remember, this was just PART 1.

how much exp do u get from that quest?

sounds like one of those stupid quest that probably gets u more exp if you grind instead..

Roughly 6million from part 1, haven't looked to see how many parts there are to it, and I am stuck on another series that starts with another NPC then goes to her. I am pretty sure that more quests happen with her after this series is done, so it is just a giant pain in the f'ing ass......

wat % is 6 mils to your current level?

ohh for some reason I've assumed that it's a repeatable.. I dunno where I got that from.. but it would make more sense to continue with the 20 hrs if there's other quests following this..

6 million is 2% at my level, which is a pretty good chunk, just not when you get stuck like this. I'll have to find out what I'm missing at this point, but I'm assuming it's at least a half dozen quests tied up here, between the remaining quests in this thread and the other one I'm stuck at. I'm guessing there will be more because this NPC is supposed to be the starting point for the Succubus Karen Quests also, from what I read.

Also, when you think that there are probably a thousand or so on each server in the same boat, and add in the fact that they let you foreigners play during the overnight hours when I get rid of the North American children, and the entire mess is a nightmare.....

6 million is only 2% O.O. Quest doesn't even seem worth it.

Well, you can rest assured that if there are a lot of people playing for 16 hours straight, they will either die, lose their job and internet connection, or be taken away by Child Protection Services. Then the spot should open up.

Ah, turns out, Outspark did thier job and fixed it right up XD
Now it only takes 1 drop, the drop rate is 50%, and the monster respawns every 10 minutes ^^
