During the school year, I didn't really watch because I was all busy and had better things to do. Once, my friends made me watch an episode and I fell asleep in the beanbag chair.

But my friend got both seasons on DVD and made me watch a couple episodes and now I'm addicted. @_@

It's sort of like that with the Southern Vampire series of books. The books are ok, popcorn kinda fluff, but the TV series (True Blood) diverges quite a bit from the source and is quite a bit better, in my opinion.
