Gold Farmers?
Anyone else besides me notice the gold farmers in the game? I think they're made by the sites who sell Fiesta currency. You can tell them apart from a normal person quite easily. Here's how to tell:
1. They're always a Fighter. Why? Because Fighters are the easiest to make money with. They can kill lots of things in a short period of time and not have to rest every few seconds.
2. They don't respond to anything you say. You could call them every name in the book and they won't say anything to you.
3. They constantly KS. I've KS'd from them several times. But they only KS because they're just trying to get as many drops as possible to sell them off for the websites so unsuspecting newbies can ruin the economy and destroy the game for everyone else. :P
4. They have weird names. Not like the lame names you see people running around with. They're usually something like "18_51BOY" or "20_29okok". And yes, both of those are names of gold farmers i've seen.
I've got screenshots to prove both 1 and 2. You'd have to see them in-game to know they do 2 and 3. This is sort of a warning but also checking whether or not they're actually people and not just some random kids with really horrid names. >.>

I assumed those sites were a pure scam. You pay the money and never see the Gold / Silver.

I think thats it as well but you can tell those people are gold farmers. I mean they may or may not be linked to those websites but I figured they would be. Otherwise its just people with no lives farming as much money as they can with alt accounts. But that doesn't seem quite as possible. Because like I said, most of them have names exactly like one another. As for the websites... it all depends.
I've ordered gil before in Final Fantasy XI and I got it (expensive as hell and I wasted all the gil in a day, lol) but that was only because of the mailing system. Fiesta has no mail system (which sucks) so the only way they could give you the money is if you were to log on and they were to trade it to you. I doubt that happens though. I think they just take your money (and quite possibly even your account) and you just get scammed.

They are farmers, and I think they work from a bot program. They are programmed to kill mobs within a certain range of them. That is why they never speak back. They can also be programmed to "kite" mobs. You can tell this because they always run the same pattern when they kite. They are farming to get either materials to sell on those websites or to sell in shrooms to help generate their money that they give you when you pay them real money. If you ever go to one of those websites and just look around it (do not actually buy anything from them), they offer to level up your character, they will sell you silver, and all kinds of other stuff.
If you see a sell shop with one of those funny names, do not buy their stuff because you are just helping to support their websites. I am not sure if it is an actual scam, but from their websites, they look like legite companies that do this with a lot of on-line games. They have people and bots that play all day long to gather, sell, and level people. It is kind of scary how many games they are doing this to.

well first we should change the "bot" to macro. because i really doubt they have made a bot. Its possible to achieve all these by using a macro and its easier, too
Noone should ever buy ANYTHING from there sites. Not because its not safe.(most likely its save) But because they want to make money with it. And as long people are buying the silver, they will continue.
p.s: They use fighters because they are the most tolerant class. and i guess they just press [tab], [f1] and [f2] for a pot the whole time.
p.s.2: These bots aren't important. Its way more important to make the use of macros harder. And maybe to detect and ban macro user.

Fighters are also standing beside the mob when it dies, therefore it does not have to run up to the dead mob to pick up the drops. It just clicks the auto-pickup button (or the macros program does). And yes, I guess macros would be a better word for them.

And if they really annoy you, you can make a train of mobs to go after them for you. >D (Yes, I've done it several times...)
