how to fight with ur own shadow for an easy method???

Do you mean how to win your own shadow easily for lvl20 job quest? What is your class?

It's always best to have a hp/sp buff on you (endure buff), perhaps some scrolls (evasion, aim, def...(vit)) and make sure you have extra potions and full stones.

It shouldn't be hard

Some people have tried different things to make it easier. Some just go in and do fine.

A T2 or T3 buff from a cleric is really nice to have.

One thing I found made it easier for me is to go ahead & find the two mobs who are hiding in the dark room where you first start to follow the blue beam of light. They are not that hard to find - one toward the top left & one toward the top right. And even though the room is dark they have a faint glow around them when you get closer to them. If you choose not to find them in the dark room they will follow you to the last room and they attack while you have other mobs from that last room to fight off.

I also find that it helps to let the first statue behind you come to life and go ahead and kill it off before attacking the shadow person. And, be prepared because the other statue will come to life soon - when it does I stop attacking my shadow & take the statue out so it quits damaging me.

Also, since your shadow appears the same as you do, some people will remove their armor & weapons and once the shadow appears they put the armor & weapons back on real quick and then remove them again in the dark room with the blue light after killing those two mobs so that when they get to the last room and the shadow appears again it is still unequipped (otherwise the shadow will appear fully equipped as the shadow of you when you when you went in - just wait till the light comes on and the shadow appears before putting it all back on.

good advice, after killing the first statue, go ahead and attack your shadow, when the other statue or any other beast shows up change your focus and take them out before returning to your shadow.

yeah,, i think about unequipped ur gear all first.,., and then,, when the shadow appear,, equip back ur gear,, its like the handicap match.,., ..its that true...

I did the 20 quest by only using a DEF scroll, for all of the classes. Make sure you have enough stones and pots on hand, too. You don't have to go through the dress/undress ritual. Just use the wiki's (and Loki's) suggestion to take out the two monsters in the dark before you get to the final room and it's a cakewalk.

._. how'd you do that with mage? my shadow was doing 60 damage to me and i only had ~300 hp. if it wasn't for the buff i would've definately died T_T.

I did not have a buff on my mage when I did it. I simply scrolled up and jumped in. I didn't even do the taking off your armour first thing either.

Spammed skills, spammed pots, spammed stones, spammed skills, spammed pots, spammed stones, spammed skills, etc. etc. etc.

Passed on my first try.

obviously mage was not meant for me ._.
