So yeah I was stumbling in stumbleupon and I stumbled upon a list of mug shots and one thing lead to another, I'm googling organized crime families. I don't know why but I find them fascinating.
Like, really... in my head I picture mafias being something from the 30s to the 70s (thanks to mafia movies). But they're still so real today. Like the Colombo family, a crime family still going today. You can check Wikipedia for updates on what their family members have been charged for lol. Must suck being a part of the mafia with the internet today.

On January 26, 2010 capo Dino Calabro, facing trial for murdering a New York police officer, became a government witness. His testimony could be devastating to the family leadership.[24] On July 20, 2010. Michael Souza became a government witness, testifying against Anthony Dentico of the Genovese crime family.[25]
On January 20, 2011 members of the Colombo crime family, as well as members of other Mafia families in New York City, were arrested on charges of murder, narcotics trafficking, and labor racketeering.[26]
