Cleric Opinion on Fighter Spr
Everything I've read in the fighter forums is of divided opinion or in favor of personal choice as to whether a tank, and I stress tank here, should get 25 spirit for the 125 sp, 5% crit, and 75 mdef. Some say the extra sp is useful for skill spamming, others say the crit helps hold aggro. What I'm really curious about is how it affects a cleric who's healing the tank. Does the extra mdef help appreciably? I've read that some fighters just go full end and expect the clerics just to heal the massive damage they receive from magic attacks since they can just absorb them with their massive hp. Thanks in advance for responses. (Hopefully intelligent responses that is. -_-)

Fighter forums here, or on Outspark? For the most part, it's incoherent babbling on Outspark.
You won't encounter too many monsters with M. Attack, so the extra SPR isn't really necessary. Unless you go Vivi hunting, for the most part the extra M. Defense won't be needed. Full END helps the cleric a lot, imo. Strong defense + Massive HP pool = Rejuvenate spam.

Hmm well in CB, I supported a full SPR fighter, while in OB, I'm now supporting a full END fighter (fun xD). To be honest, there wasn't that much of a difference in healing really. I have to still heal either way. I think the only difference would be that I healed slightly more constantly for the SPR fighter compared to END, but then again, the END fighter always has "rambo blood" (like he said himself) and runs for a zillion mobs at the same time, so I still have to heal just as much as a SPR fighter (but I think the SPR fighter tanks a bunch of mobs every now and then as well).
I honestly don't think that 25 SPR will make much difference at all, considering I had compared a full SPR and a full END fighter.
Does that sort of answer your question? ><"

Quite. Thank you. I think I'll just go full end since at higher lvls I doubt 75 mdef makes a difference anyways. Just wanted to ask for the cleric's opinion since it's my job to make things easier for them.

So nice to have a fighter consider the clerics for once. :P Good luck with your character. >B

Aww that's very sweet. :3 Any cleric will love you for that.
Yeah, well, the MDEF may decrease the damage taken a bit, but if you have full END, you have enough hp to take the hit anyway. So it should be cool either way.

LoL. I've already gone full end so far on my lvl 30 warrior but it just goes against my principles to be so inefficient against magic damage. Makes me want to make a 2nd warrior just to go full spirit...but I'm too lazy I suppose. Making one full end warrior was tiring enough.
