Awesome Anime!!! :DD

Okay, so i was watching adult swim 3 nights ago and i found out about this awesome anime called Code Geass. If you want to slightly simplify some of the plotish stuff, you could just say it practically bring Death Note and Gundam Seed together.

There are 25 episodes in the first season, and for what i know of so far, there are 12 episodes in the second season. ( still going i think) And btw just to add a little note, the second season is Code Geass R2.

its an amazing anime, really sad, brought me to tears. :P lots of fighting with guns, things that are practically gundams, and a little bit of other stuff thats to hard 2 explain. :P anyways i hope some of you will check it out.

Just to add one more note: its like Death Note because the main character has the same kind of attitude about changing the world to some kind of better place, with a new power. It's like Gudam because, well, it has a majority of fighting in giant mechas. :/

I've seen probably one epoisode of it and it is a really good show xD
Adult swim always has that anime come on late at night ^^

sounds awesome i'ma check it out, england doesn't have anime on adult swim just lots of family guy

i'll probs end up buying the thing cause the artwork for it looks good. *is easily sold by the packaging*

Code Geass is good, except it has a lot of Deus Ex Machina and convenient saves.

It also um, tends to 'cater' to fans.

seen it...don't really like it since it's pretty boring and the fights aren't all exciting and crazy. I prefer Gundams since Code Geass is similar(or basically the same) to it and it is a lot better.

I like Code Geass more than Death Note* and Gundam Seed**, though I never watched the finale and didn't bother with R2 until episode 5 where I also noticed the voice actor for Xing-Ke was the same guy who voiced Seiren in Saiunkoku Monogatari~ I've been following it on anime blogs and reading the summaries and stuff, and if something catches my interest, I'll actually bother to watch the episode. I just recently watched all of the current R2 ones cause of episode 11.

Never plan to watch the series in English though, I can only imagine myself laughing at their lines every time. Just like how I would laugh at Gurren Lagann in English. @_@" I have nothing against dubbed anime if I think it's done well but Code Geass has lots of people, I figure that's just too much to handle. :/

*Death Note, I lost interest in like Chapter 4 of the manga so I never bothered with anime. L amusing though :x
**I lost interest after episode 5. Gundam 00 is not that interesting either in my opinion, but I prefer the setting a bit (just a bit) more than Seed.

Lolz this is old stuff. Also along with DN it's ranked near the top spot as the #1 Japanese anime on air for the previous year. Atm Code Geass R2 is at episode 11 with new episodes due to release each Sunday.

I started the series a couple of months ago & I love it. Far better than any Gundam series I've seen(G Gundam anyone?), although at times I don't quite understand CC and her affinity for pizza pies hahahaha.

Really good series though.

I agree with you Esen. Gundam 00 wasn't that great. To me, it's slightly reminiscient of 9-11 in some aspects. Then ****** ****** dies, so that really killed it for me.

Oh, and the Guren Nishki Aerial type would TOTALLY own any Strike Freedom wannabe gundam thingy ahahahhaha ! :P

I liked Code Geass. I think it's a bit overrated, but it's still pretty good. I'm not keeping up with R2, but I intend to watch it at some point when it's finished airing.

Like Esen, I also lost interest in the Death Note manga, (I made it around halfway though), so I didn't bother with the anime either.

Aside from 08th MS Team, which I really liked, I've never been a big fan of Gundam in general. Didn't like Wing much, SEED was kinda, meh, and 00 I watched only a few episodes of, but I lost interest fairly quickly. All of 00 is still on my hard drive though, so I may finish eventually if I get really bored.

Now that was an awesome anime. I just marathon watched all 27 eps of that over the last couple weekends. Best anime I've seen in a long time. It's sorta like NGE and FLCL muxed together.

08th MS Team <3 I enjoyed Wing though, probably cause I watched it first. I think I lost interest 00 at Episode 2. xD Macross Frontier had a much better grash of my interest, probably because of all the similarities it shares with the original.

Mmm, Gurren Lagann ranks high on my list too~ I never saw NGE though and didn't finish FLCL (cause everytime I tried, I only caught Ep 1 xDD).

I enjoy watching & listening to the parallel works since they been pretty amusing so far, and it is nice to hear the music played in the series again. <3

You know, I honestly don't pay much attention the name of the frames and stuff in Code Geass so besides Guren and all the easy names (Lancelot, etc), I don't know what the others are called, haha. Doesn't really matter to me though, I tend to phase out a bit if they start explaining this or that about the frames. @_@ I would think "Hmm... Yu-Gi-Oh..." as I kinda listen.
