Damn friggin Gold Hill KQ

I joined Gold Hill KQ A with my fighter and planning to tank (very happy) Then i got in and everyone found out there not a single cleric and everyone suicide suicide suicide wow and left with only a few of us and we decided to suicide, waste of my buff. I got in Gold Hill KQ C next, and there only one cleric, and a few idiots suicide and the rest continue (good), a lv20 used alot scrolls, all the scrolls + buff = 10 buffs and he tanked. After that we slay the mini boss and continue...blah blah blah... we finally got the key to get into the boss fight, when everyone was ready, nobody frigging open the damn door!!! We waited and waited until the time ran out and we FAILED! I failed two Gold Hill KQ in less than 1hr. ><

</3 suiciders when they think one cleric isn't enough. Or when they assume KQ is instant fail. Dx

Kept happening to me when Golden was Gold Hill level... For a different reason though, I knew this happened around 6 times but all I can remember clearly is 2 of these happenings, once when an archer got it. We were already at the last gate, I was fully buffed and used 1 Strength potion since we had no clerics. Clock hit 0:02, then the archer said "lol, sry guys i was watching hapy tree frends, hu got da key, dd we win yet?" We all said "YOU DID, OPEN NOW" he said "huh" and we lost... Another happening is when a cleric got the key, and refused to open it unless he was given 20s. Someone was dumb enough to give him 5s, but yeah time ran out and we failed.

I've had one where the afker/leecher got the key via seq allocation...

Sounds like there'll need to be a new "culture" in gold hill where you go and find TWO keys!

I felt so unlucky today =( I got debuffed by a monster (the slow walking speed one) and got attacked by a ice vivi (i low m.def) in MT and none of my party member come to help me =( I wasted 10 hp pots.

is suiciding in a KQ *that* common???

I was in a Robo last night that started with only 16...everyone was like "16 wtf?" and "16=fail" blah blah blah...

so about 6 ppl suicided out, and then with only ten left and about 2 of us clerics we did die out pretty soon after that.

imho suiciding out of a KQ = fail...meyb there is a comet in orbit I dunno about or somethin ... dun drink the koolaid!

But likewise, I've been in lots of KQ like that and it was JUST horrible. Stupid people who didn't realize they had the key, one minute before the timer runs out.....theres an "OH! I have the key!"

edit: realizing they have the key after sitting there for 4 minutes ^^

I've unknowingly had the key before, and just ended up with like 30 secs on the clock before everyone was like "EVERYONE TALK TO THE ICE WALL!!!!"

I did, and thank GAWD the clock resets when you use the key ;D

It is rather easy to have the key and not realize that you have the key. When a party is first made in the KQ, even if it says that it is allocated to "Free" it is not. Therefore, if someone else in your party picks the key up, it could potentially land in your pocket. The thing is, it is not like other drops, nothing pops up to say that YOU got it. The generic message pops up saying that the key has been found. Everyon runs to the gate and you never realize the key is on your pocket, because you know you did not pick it up.

I try to prevent this by always Reclicking "Free" allocation as soon as I make my party. If for some reason, I am not party master, I have learned to always check my pockets after the message pops up.
