Come, my fellow povo FiestaFanlings!
Are you feeling poor? Did you get a heart attack when you realised how expensive your EQs and skills are? Are you so broke that you can't even afford stones and pots? Have you recently told someone you only have ## coppers left? Do you think 20 silvers is a lot of money? If you do, this is the place for you. You can scream and whine about how poor you are right here! We'll offer each other comforts and our condolences. If you have 100 silvers or more here, GET OUT! WE DON'T WANT YOU! (Jkjk) But don't come and say "I have 100 silvers but I think I'm still poor". Think of us! The ones that are always down to coppers only! It hurts when you say that to us. =(
So anyway, ever since I've reached level 30, there always seem to be a hole in my poor wallet and the hole seems to get bigger and bigger every day. Before I turned 30, I went to calculate how much money I need to get the armours I want. In total: 38 silvers. I nearly passed out. 38 silvers?! That is insane indeed. So I went digging up coppers to make stones, digging up plants in moonlight tomb, spilling blood, sweat and tears, and I finally managed to make 38 silvers. BRILLIANT! I got all the armours I needed when I turned level 30, and thought "awesome, I don't need to save that much money again till level 40 for the next set of armours".
WRONG! WRONG! I totally forgot about my skills. Just then, I calculated how many more silvers I need to afford all the skills I need (level 34 now, I haven't been getting any skills since level 30), and I found out that I need to get about 30 silvers. ANOTHER 30! Oh my god! - Faints - When will this ever end?! Why does the NPC keep stealing money from me? Why won't they let me bargain!??!
Don't you sometimes wonder how some people of your level can be so rich compared to you? How come they have so many silvers hanging around in their inventory doing nothing? I only spend money on stones and pots. I don't buy any unnecessary expensive things at all, yet I am so poor all the time. I'm sure other people needs to buy stones/pots/whatever they need as well. Why are they so rich? WHY?!
So now, I'm still wondering how I am going to make the 30 silvers I need. But the time I get them, I might have made another level or two, meaning I would need more silvers to buy more skills. NOoooOOooOoooo.....
Sharing a similar experience? Whine about it here!

I used the GM events as a stepping stool for the money I have at the moment. I remember getting about 70 silver from one event from picking about 4-5 flowers, ever since then I've been merchanting. Buying low, selling high. Though I got scammed twice (purchase/sell store thing), I've still been able to retain most of the money I had made from the events.
There's not much advice I have for money making or saving, as it seems the cost of things just tilts too steeply. I mean, you started buying things for 50 copper at level 1, and at level 30 you're facing 17 silver for just the upper body armor alone. Crazy inflation?! I think so. Smith Karls needs a good backhand. But you have to respect the guy for being able to break so many hearts with his half assed refining and over priced wares.
Anyway, in your case, I'd say just keep picking them herbs in Moonlight tomb, takes a long time but you should be making 3-4 silver an hour.

Petition for lowered cost, anyone? T_T
When I got my cleric to level 31, I had about, 90s give or take. I forget the actual number, but it was around there. I realized I had a ton of new skills to buy and armor. e_e After buying everything, I had 200c left...

Let's pool our money and hire an assassin to take that dude out, seriously. He's got to be a billionaire by now from the sweat off our backs.
Anyway yeah, at about level 25 I think I was really backed up on stuff I needed to buy, but I got enough from an event a couple sales. I don't know if I'll make it to thirty or not but I doubt I'll have the money to cover my needs then. So far the primary reason I'm broke is from massive losses due to failed refining attempts, though. I wish I had all that loot back.

You try refining people's item's for FREE 24/7 without getting any pay...
Wish there was a way to bribe the bastard though.

The meaning of victory is not to defeat your enemy but to destroy him, to eradicate him from living memory, to leave no remnant of his endeavours, to crush utterly his every achievement and remove from all record his every trace of existence. From that defeat no enemy can recover. That is the meaning of victory.
