(yes this is the same as posted on the outspark forums, but different people view things in different places)
So as you may or may not know, this afternoon in Teva's lovable Forest of Tides, there was a swarm of creatures known as the Flaming Honeying. Let's just say I'm glad I have Blessing of Teva activated, because I know some people who lost 15k+ of exp.
I got good enough loot and a laugh, so the event wasn't completely lost on me. =P
It began as a lagfest as EVERYONE portaled to roumen and ran to FoT to get a look at these honeyings.
Pretty soon we all discovered their power. >.#
And subsequently turned into a grave yard of "REZ PLZ"
Once we were back on track (relogged, revived etc), we set sight on the treasure these beasts were protecting.
I realized my best course of action would be to slink into the bushes. And saw the army that backed them up.
Apparently my plan wasn't working too well (hide on the side until they were wiped out), people trained to my area and spread the mass of Flaming Honeyings.
I was tipped off about a larger loot at the end of the hidden path (<3 ya Jester~), so I set off behind the trees to reach her. On the way I saw more clusters of those evil little things.
It was like a paradise. Unfortunately, I got no pictures but there were TREASURE CHESTS LIEK WOAH (about 5 clusters like this one with a few Flameys floating nearby). And a huge, gigantic Honeying. I got very close to the chests many times, but my attempts were thwarted, as you can see.
Once I relogged, I found that the treasure chests exploded and littered the ground with loot. The lag only allowed me to get a few things, but I was pretty satisfied. Here you can see everyone rushing for those oh-so priceless Sand Hill scrolls. (xP)
We saw GM Snakey on a pegasus, and he was even so kind as to give us our very own Mini Dragon to play with!. :3
He's so thoughtful. =P (That thing dealt 11k damage on me. Once again I thank thee Fiestashop, for blessing of Teva)
And that was all, it was actually pretty fun, thanks GMs! Hopefully we'll have more events like that in the future.
I hope you enjoyed this post!
