My Fiesta Connection Sucks

And I don't know why. My graphics card can easily handle much more intense games, I've got enough RAM to run multiple applications without any issues, and I have a broadband Internet connection that never fails with any other applications.

But I disconnect from Fiesta all the time. I lag a lot. Often, when I move through a portal to another map, I lag for a solid minute. More than once I've gone through a gate just to find I'm already dead when the map loads.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Well I think most people are laggin. And there is only one explanation, its the snow graphix the game has. Cause on maps that dont have snow it loads faster and I dont lag. But for example going to Elderine it will show the loading page for 3 min...We just have to wait for a new patch to get rid of the snow.

I just went to re-log and I lost my connection, then got an authentication error.

So u have connection lag? That means u can turn around the camera and move? But u cant hit, talk or use items?

If its not. Reduce Graphic Settings.

I lag really badly when I portal to somewhere, I get stuck at the title screen forever and have to relog =/
My connection is okay, but it d/cs sometimes and lags a lot. Either that, or it's perfectly fine o__O

I get a lot of DC's and crashes too. Like sometimes I would go up to any random NPC and click on purchase, BAM! my game crashes or when I go through a portal I would get a momentary lag then maybe crash/disconnect. I don't know if its my client or my connection.

Umm, the authentication error usually only happens when you click select server since they don't have it working right yet. So, you may have clicked that instead of select character xD

This game has very few graphics options to adjust, though.

There's no quality setting, no resolution adjustment, and no "I HATE SNOW" option.

The way Max described connection lag, that seems like it. But my connection works perfectly for everything other than Fiesta. O_O
