Christmas shopping

at a bargain store is a nightmare =_=

I had to buy 12 canvases (10"x12" & also about 3-4cm in thickness), and bringing them all to the counter to pay for them was hell when there were mums with prams and kids on the loose in this puny store.

I could barely find a spot to line up to pay for them because of the way I had to hold all of the canvases. If a kid ran around in front of me I wouldn't have seen them and would have just stepped all over them.

I had to wait for that mum with the pram to leave before I could even line up. I stood behind this teenage girl who took a step back and walked into me with my 12 canvases. I was about to apologise when she turned around and GAVE ME A DIRTY! That brat! I quickly swallowed my apology and glared at her in return.

Then this other stupid woman decided to push in before me. =_=

Finally got to the counter and paid for my stuff when the stingy asian woman wanted to give me only 2 plastic bags to carry my 12 canvases!!! Each bag could barely fit 5, let alone 6 canvases. She gave got a third bag out after she realised she couldn't squeeze 6 in >___>

and then you'd think that the people next up behind me would make way for me to move out so they can pay for their stuff right? NOPE. As I struggled to get out of that cramped area with my three bulky bags (plus another massive bag with those rolls of xmas wrapping paper in it), people behind me would just stand there and not move until I said "EXCUSE ME". Gawd. The woman behind me was already reaching over the counter trying to pay for her stuff when I haven't even moved out of that spot completely.

Maybe I should have cared a little less about them and just walk all my bags into them since they didn't care to move.

The holidays are hectic. So many deals and so much pressure to get people what they want for Christmas.

I haven't had too many issues. But one year my mom and I got bitched at by a lady at the mall and a lady at toy charity drive thingy.

At the mall my mom was in a wheel chair and I was pushing her around and we were simply trying to cross the hallway to get the other side and get to a store. The mall was packed and we didn't wanna just rush into the group of people and possibly run over someones foot. But people just weren't letting us get across the hallway so I just did it... I pushed my mom across. I didn't run into anyone but a lady we were walking behind as we walked diagonally across decided to randomly turn around and walk against traffic... causing her to bump into my moms chair and stumble a little. She started yelling at us "YOU DON'T RUN THIS PLACE!!! Just because you're in a wheel chair blah blah blah" My mom just scowled at her

Then my mom was going to go pick up toys for the kids from a Toys for Tots-like charity. My mom was further up the line and I was waiting in the car because they only allow one person to go in per group of kids. But since my mom was disabled, she got permission to let me come in and push her in her wheel chair while she got stuff and looked for stuff for the kids. As I was making my way up the line a lady flipped out and yelled at me "Um... excuse me?? There is a line here!" I just looked at her blankly and told her my disabled mom is further up the line and needs me to help her. I think the women felt really embarrassed after that. I pulled the disabled card ;p Don't be so quick to jump to conclusions. Common sense... people lined up, there is a line. Hm... what should I do.

Actually Yosei, there are plenty of people who see a line up and still try to get past it. So unfortunately common sense isn't quite... there most of the time.

Call me the grinch but this is why I hate the holidays. These people are already pretty bad out of the holiday season... doesn't make it any better during.
