PS Vita / psp

Does the psp have a good collection of games? Particularly rpg games? I'm thinking of buying the vita when it comes out since I've been deprived of rpgs for a long time. I don't have my ps2 anymore and I could never afford a ps3, until now but with college coming soon I don't think I'll be able to play ps3 comfortably in dorms. I already see a couple games that seem enjoyable, such as KH, phantom brave, FF. I've always been iffy about portable games though. Are the games interesting all the way through? When I got my android phone, I thought I'd never need a ds or psp because it has a bunch of games and it's cheap and that will satisfy my gaming needs. But I really don't play much games on it after a couple weeks. It just has the kind of games that you play when you literally have nothing to do. Like in a long car ride or waiting in the office for something. If i'm at home, I'd rather be on the internet than play the game. Do psp games have that same effect? When I had the ps2, i'd rather play some of those games then be on the internet, i'm hoping to see that kind of quality in psp games.
