Was speaking to the IT guy about some functionality of our system, and he said "I know I programmed a lot of this, but I actually don't know how everything works."

So.. how do you program a system/database, but not sure how all of the functions work? @_@

Or maybe he programmed it a long time ago and forgot how to use it...

Sometimes you just kept adding things to it to make it work...

Or maybe like when I was trying to find an Excel formula to do something.. I found it online, it works, but I have no idea how the formula make it work.......?
