During one of my YouTube trolls, I stumbled onto this. True tales of a combat medic. I decided to watch it, and to be honest... I liked it. However after watching the series and reading some of the comments posted, I began to think a bit about the whole thing, the whole reason for war in Iraq.
Why do these people really believe that what they're fighting (and dying) for the freedom of Iraq from terrorism?
Let's look at the evidence here. 2001, World Trade Center plane crash. Then, according to the first video at 0:43, "In November 2002, The US President George W. Bush declared a globar war on terrorism and vowed to free the oppressed people of Iraq".
Okay, I get the "global war on terrorism" part, but where does Iraq come in? And what does he mean by "oppressed"? Opressed by what? Seems to me that this is about revenge, and the whole "freeing the oppressed" thing is like putting on a pink bow on a nuke, launching it at Iraq, and calling it a "gift" for the "oppressed people of Iraq". WTF?
