this was kinda my first "day" at my tech camp (well more like from 5pm till now)
theres one other girl here but shes a bit older than me xD hopefully ill manage to make friends with some ppl :P
the schedule is kinda awesome though.
8:30 is breakfast
9:00 first class starts
12:00 lunch
1:00 another class
5:00 dinner
6:00 till 11:00 is game time
then sleep xD

cool thing is one of the instructors works on WoW, Grand Chase, Trickster, and a bunch of other games thaty i didnt know of, but all the guys were going "OMFG" over. xD

:< everyone was playing CoD and i was playing S4, but then i gave up and tried CoD, which i majorly failed at xD

were using Maya

pretty epic program~ we get a USB drive at the end with all our work, but ill be sure to post some of my work once im done <3 the people are really nice xD i wonder if this camp will make me into a CoD geekn like everyone else hahah

Ahh, I've been meaning to find a copy of Maya. I dont 3D model that much but when I do I use Autodesk 3DS Max, it's made by the same people IIRC and are very similar programs.
But I've been using Valve's 'Hammer Editor' recently to make a 3D environment to be used as a map in TF2

i managed to make a deformed key blade in my first class xD oh well lol. i would want to buy maya but its waaaaaay to much money ;u;

"Way too much money" is a bit of an understatement eh? =P

Sounds like fun though, would love to take 3D modelling classes. I remember spending a good portion of my Gr.11 year in the CAD class making a 3 min spacecraft fight scene. Too bad I have no idea where I put that file...

todat was really awesome cuz i got to talk to the instructor guy about outspark and all the games ive played by other companies @u@ which alot of them he worked on~
it was funny having a conversation with an exGM of Ntreev about how impossible the lvl20 job change in grand chase is xD he told me that everyone else working thought it was ridiculous as well xP
