Pull down a girls pants? No problem. Cuss someone out? 90 Days in the slammer!

Forgive Cindy Schwalb for being a little pissed. Last May, a boy pulled down her 13-year-old daughter's sweatpants in front of other students at school. She didn't believe administrators at the Hasbrouck Heights School District in New Jersey were taking it seriously...

So she showed up at a back-to-school meeting this fall looking for action. That's where she decided to lambast the principal for his inaction -- with a liberal dose of profanity. If any of you have encountered the Captain Rulebooks they're hiring as administrators these days, you likely know her frustration.

But in the lexicon of school officials, cussing the principal before a packed auditorium is totally inappropriate. So the district filed disorderly conduct charges against her.

Under the steadfast rules of a stand-up America, the incident should have prompted a sit-down where everyone cleared the air. But the district isn't back down. It wants to teach parents that they can't cuss the principal. So Schwalb is now headed to court, where a dozen people showed up wearing red shirts to support the mom.

She's pleaded not guilty, and faces 90 days in the slam if convicted.

I'll try to find a better article that I read a few days ago. Apparently, the boy had been suspended and had to go through some sort of sensitivity training and a few more hoops...but she was STILL demanding more be done.

We dont know how much more the boy had done other than sheerly pulling the pants down; he could've touched her butt or something afterwards, as well, which would make further outrage understandable. Also, i can see how the mother would want more done; at 13, people are pretty emotionally and sexually fragile, seeing as they're usually just starting to enter puberty, so it would be natural for the parent to feel even more outrage than usual.

Then again, i can see how her reaction could've prompted hostility, if the boy had already been punished; a civil discussion would've made more sense than cussing the principal out.

The boy was disciplined. He was suspended for a day, ordered to serve three days in Saturday detention, barred from attending a year-end class trip, and required to attend sensitivity sessions, Luongo wrote in a letter to Schwalb after the incident, a copy of which was obtained by The Record.

What the hell more exactly do you want done to the boy? Castration? Tar and feathering? She got pantsed. I did too. You know what? I got the fuck over it.

All i was saying was we dont know the full detail of the situation; maybe the girl had just revealed a new detail or something. Not saying the mom was right; just saying that it was possible.

The thing is...I could understand being really pissed off when the incident first happened. I could understand an irate parent storming the school to demand justice.

This isn't the case. This happened at least seven months ago. The boy was punished consummate to his actions. She's still raising a stink because "it could happen again." I guess she wants a requirement to rivet pants to yourself in gym class. She's just causing further embarrassment to the kid.
