What's the different between Tales of Symphonia and Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World?
The second one is supposed to be an escort title and... is based off the first one? But I'm thinking of buying one and Wikipedia was not very helpful...

ToS: Dawn of the New World takes place after Lloyd and his group merged the two lands.
So the map is a merged version... and the same features with slight variations are there. You almost feel a sense of deja vu while playing... the puzzles you encounter are similar or even the same at some points.
It's been awhile since I played the game... some of the differences are that you can tame the monsters and evolve them. Think Pokemon here... lol. I found both the two main characters to be annoying and the story too short for my liking. So much so that I didn't even bother going back into the grade shop and fully completing the game.
And like the Wiki says... the game didn't fully utilize what could've came out of the Wii remote. I still felt like I was playing on my GameCube....

1st one = 10x better. That's the difference.
