... I have a question.

When you boot up your system and go to the logon screen, some people have to click their icon before they can see their password field, and others have their password field already open upon boot.

Now, how do you make the system make you click the icon before entering the password, without having the password field open by default? I know it's possible, cause I've had this setting before, but ever since I did a fresh install, I can't figure this out. Help plox?

I don't think there's a setting anywhere for that, or one that could be so easily found. Without use of the command-line anyway...


Maybe try having multiple accounts? That way I think you have to choose between which account so no PW-field comes up. Maybe make a standard account with a random strong password. Can always delete it later with your original Admin account.
