Are you in Beijing? If you are, I always find the Hongqiao Market fun. One of the saleswomen selling fake Vans shoes threatened to kill my friend and I with a shoe because of our intense bargaining. God I love that place. xD

I've actually never been to Hongqiao. But once you been in one market, you've been in them all.

True. Though I never saw girls as maniacal as the ones selling shoes in Hongqiao.

Go around speaking common Spanish phrases to random people (or respond to what people say to you), man that's fun. xD

Just wondering, do you know if there's any place I can get fireworks in Beijing? That was one thing that we couldn't find in even the most black market-type stores. We found weapons, drugs, other contraband, just not fireworks. xD

Dunno where you can get fireworks. But there was definitely a Roman candle on the table of the club/lounge that my friends and I went to on July 4.
