Ok, i tried putting $20 on my Gpotato account for Luna Online, but i got an email saying this:

Dear gPotato Customer,

Thank you for your generous contribution.

Your payment has been received and processed.However we were unable to approve your payment.The payment's funds have been reversed to the funding source.

Please make certain that the billing information on the gPotato account matchesthe information
on the funding source you have chosen before attempting additional payments.

is it because i used my mom's Paypal account, which has a different email address than my gpotato account? please help.

That seems like the likely reason. Paypal is real iffy about stuff like that.

Your account name has to match the name on the billing. Also, if you havent been a gpotato member for some while, you may have to wait a bit before you can start buying gpots. Also, give them a call. Their billing support is fast and easy, even a caveman can do it. 877 - GALA - NET

EDIT: Derrick's explaination sounds correct too... i wrote "noneof yerbusiness" as my first and last name sincei didnt want to give out info to random peoples i didnt know... it doesnt look like i can edit it either... is there any way i can resolve that? or am i screwed?

You can go into your account profile/management. You may still be able to change it in there.

you might be able to get your name changed but you'll have to email them about it and you'll have to be able to provide all the correct information including the secret question if you had one (can't remember what their secret question thign was).

but yea it's because of the name. the name on your gpotato account has to match the name on the paypal account. they had too many people trying to buy gp and then pull the payment.

i dont think that emailing anyone but paypal with all my mom's paypal info would be a good idea... o_o

email gpotato tellign them you need to change the name on your gpotato account. if they let you they'll ask for some of your gpotato account info including your secret question. that's how it used to be anyways. if that doesn't work then you'll just have to make a new account and wait a while so you can buy gp

apparently they dont allow you to do name changes... so i'm stuck buying a gpotato card.
