[ESO] GM Bake Sale!
Quote:
|
With all of the chaos spread throughout the world, the orphans of Pokari have been neglected. The Goddess of Mercy has given a task for the Keop Family to help feed the orphans.
While they have a lot of food, it is not enough to feed all of the orphans. Magfu, Keop’s Widow has been too distressed lately to help out with the task so she handed it off to her two of daughters, Zurie and Ama.
Both daughters decided to hold a bake sale to raise funds to feed more orphans. To encourage people to buy their overpriced food they are putting up items for raffle. Each item will cost 1 gold. For every item you buy, you will get entered into a raffle for pets and transformation cards.
Both the daughters have enlisted GMs to help sell the food on their behalf. Even in a charity event, the two daughters are not able to put aside their sibling rivalry. They are both holding separate bake sales. Who will you support, the Zurie or Ama? Two GMs will both be online at the same time, one for each side.
If Zurie sells more baked goods, whoever supported her will get extra prizes added to the raffle. If the Ama sells more baked goods, her supporters will be eligible to win extra prizes.
The GM representing Zurie will be selling her items in Keop’s Place right next to Zurie at (-242, 530, 244)
The GM representing Ama will be selling their her in Keop’s Place right next to Ama at (-277, 487, 244)

they arnt really making money because its using ingame gold.
An event that doesnt require purchase of cash shop? This game has the best events. I like the pistolbox the best.

The Tiano pet looks cool. I wonder if it'll be a humanoid or a haunten type pet. Either way, I dont think any of the gold whores out there will be willing to throw away 5000 gold just to get a pet like that.

I dont think the purpose of this event is to farm real money out of people, but to balance the game and economy in game.

Clearly didn't get it when I said taking money out of the game... but anyway, it's a Humanoid unfortunately.
On top of that there's a 10g limit per character for each side. And if you were to buy from both sides you will not be able to win the Pistilpox Siren.

We don't think the event will help with taking away too much money from the economy, but if it does, it's not really a bad thing We just wanted to run a different type of event, and see how it goes.
The 10g limit is to make it so everybody has a fair chance. We didn't want someone who had too much gold to pretty much buy out everything and not give other players a chance.
Also we will not run any event that requires usage of cash shop items.

Where shall we wander?

I don't even play ESO and it sounds like a great idea for an event.
The non-requirement of Cash-Shop purchases is pretty good.

There has to be a catch, this sounds to good to be true Loonie. Haha jk, sorry I'm not use to seeing these kind of events especially from other games.
