what to do?

so i just started playing this lovely, game.

and i do enjoy it, i have a lvl 6 archer i;m REALLY enjoying!

she can kill and i love the class, and how they are kinda the underdog.

plus the other 3 classes don;t appel to me as much.

on to my point, i;m really worried aobut how my charicter will turn out...i really love the class but all i hear is negative things!

"past lvl 20 it's impossible to solo anytihng that;s not green."

"you won;t be wanted on teams!"

just negative things! and i don;t want to level a charter that will eventually suck, becuase i really don;t have much timeo n my hands, and i want to enjoy what charter i do choose to level.

so please can someone answer me this:

Is it really worth it? Will i be dissipointed?

I really want to love this character, but i'll roll a new class if the odds are that stacked agenst it....

BS to not needed.

It is no doubt worth it.

Without an Archers DPS it takes WAY longer to kill something more challenging.

Archers and mages all have extremely rough starts early off in the game. It'll be a bish until you reach the heir tier levels.

Mages are virtually useless with high cool downs and low amount of spells..
Archers....Don't have it any better.

Just keep pushing onward..it WILL get much easier later on. Do your best to find a party at this point though, you can atleast give some ranged support.
Seriously though the archer isn't a noob friendly class so good luck.

I found that my archer made the best solo of all my characters because of it's immense damage and it's solid HP. I was using a full spirit build. I've been using a fighter since the Open Beta release, and I'll tell you I wish I hadn't. Grinding with low damage is frustrating to say the least.

Don't worry about it, we need more archers. They're nice damage, and they can take more hits than mages lol.

I can solo orange monsters without much problem. For instance, I could kill Harkans on my own at about level 45 and they are lvl 50.

It can be pretty difficult to find a party at times but luckily I have a guild to help me out.

Not to shut you down Kiedo but all classes should be able to solo harkans by that level.. XD;;;

Anyway Archers and Mages (basically dps types) are needed at the higher tier of levels anyway. You will be apreciated by then by your parties. If anything is going for archers is well thier damage is the most Consistent. Highest aim and bleed/poison shutdowns ensure your atleast doing damage while all your party mates can't even hit the dam monster even with an aim scroll.

alright guys you have gavin me hope, and i won't buy in so much to all the hate on archers in the game, plus i just love playign her so whatever floats my boat right? xP<p>
