That looked and sounded like crap.
I'm watching The Aviator on FX and at one part, Howard(DeCaprio(sp?)) says, "And who he f***s." but since its on tv, they go over f*** with 'dates' and it just.. really didn't fit.
Obviously, its not suppose to fit but in other movies they've done it way better xD

Gawd that stuff annoys me x.x Its just a word. The movie is PG-13 I assume, so little kids shouldn't be watching it anyways.

Never watch a Samual L. Jackson movie on FX, half of it you can't even understand with all the swearing he does. xD

You can go flip yourself, melon farmer.
It reminds me of those gum commercials. They make me laugh like a madman.

Lmao yeah, I just saw that the other day. I think it was Die Hard With a Vengeance edited for some cable station. I was like... melon farmer? Wtf? I'd rather they just use old fashioned bleeps.
You're right, it does remind of those Obit dirty mouth commercials with the random, nonsensical "curse" words.

It really brings up the argument, why have we allowed certain words to have this power over us? Does the word itself, a collection of letters, have some sort of inherent ability to be good or evil?
Language is merely the way in which we've developed to communicate thoughts. Do we object to certain words because the thoughts they convey are evil? Since the intent of melon farmer (an insult using an invective tone) is the same as the original, why bother changing it in the first place?
