Change In Drop Rates?
I have been working in the 70 abyss quite a bit. I spent all of lev 70 there and most of 73/74. I would go in with my iron box empty except for 2 sets of scrolls so that when i applied the second set it would free up 7 slots and I could stay there for almost the 2 full hours before my iron box was full (this was with a rant on).
After i learned E4 I could step to a corner and make 100 E4 stones and free up 16 slots allowing me to stay for almost 3 hours. I was averaging +11% exp and making decent $$.
Last night after the down load I went to 70 abyss. Not only has the things that drop changed, so has the number of things. I was there for 3 hours and my box was only about 1/3 full. I had gained 10% exp so I know my kill rate was about the same.
In the past there were slime jelly, dog tooth, and beast leather drops. I got none of those. Instead i got perserved signs and badges. Badges we know are useless as mats and as i have said in other posts potion making is aready bugged and not a great $$ maker.
The main reason I have spent so much time in the abyss is to find learing scrolls and i have been averaging 1 per 6 hours. Whats going to happen to that. I don't even know if learning scrolls still drop there!
Slime jelly is otherwise hard to come by and is needed to make spd scrolls. I did go to the new abyss for about 1/2 hour and got 1 lq.
Because I was so PO'ed about what was happening in the abyss i decided to go ahead on some quests and level up to 75. I went and banged arrows out of dimond trumpys and hair from an old arcon. Considering my hunters rant i seemed like my drop rate was low. Normally I would get at least 1 item from every kill and usually more. I was not, It seems like my rant is no longer working.
