Any advantages to either person in taking on an apprentice?

Adv. of being a master:
- Get 10% of what apprentice spends on NPC (only applies if both master and apprentice is online).

Adv. of being apprentice:
- Freebies at level 10, 20, 30, 40 etc.

The Apprentice gets a variety (seems to vary from instance to instance) of items every ten levels (10, 20, 30, 40 only) while they have a Master. The items can be anything like minor CS items, weapons, armor, pets, etc. The Master gets 10% of everything the App. spends while the Master is online (only).
