Dying and spawning

I thought that at the end of CB2, they changed it so that when you die, you spawn at the start of the map. Did it ever happen or was I imagining things? I hate walking so much, especially when I'm on a dying streak. =(

I don't think it ever changed but I think it would be nice if it gave you options on where to spawn to.

Oh wait.. or does that only apply to the Dungeon in Moonlight Tomb? I remember that happening there.

Well in the Marlone clan hideout you spawn at the mouth of the cave and I'm not sure about Luminous.

For dungeons, you spawn at the start of the map. (e.g. Marlone Clan's Hideout, Graveyard of the Dead)

For all other maps, you spawn at the nearest town.

Something like thats only happened to me once.. I was noobish, I made a suicidal run through forest of mist, and I died, then it asked me if I would like to be resurrected at the place I died at, and I chose yes, and I popped up at the gate.

The Blue Viper is on a distinguished road
Spawn to the nearest town my backside. I've died several times right outside the Eldrine town portal and have spawned back in Roumen.

I don't suppose there's anyway to actually save your spawn in towns?

I believe if you die at Sea of Greed, Forest of Mist, etc. you end up in Roumen, even if there seems to be a gate in the map (esp. Sea of Greed, I died there and ended up Roumen...was all wtf >_>)

Idk, seeing as I'm not a developer of the game, I can only give a speculation.
